Zutec meets the trade contractors and package managers to gather key information, requirements and confirm any project‑specific needs. At this stage, Zutec requests all approved documentation required to begin Technical Authoring, including technical submissions, access to collaboration tools, commissioning schedules, as‑built drawing schedules and the package scope of work. This ensures the authoring process begins with complete, accurate and validated inputs.
Draft documentation is produced and taken through a structured review and approval process. The first draft is first issued to the trade contractor for review and confirmation of content. After the confirmation of content, the draft is then submitted to the main contractor, consultants, designer or client for comments and approval.
A “Final” version of the O&M Manual reflects an approved draft with pending documents, while a “Record” version represents a fully complete O&M Manual with no outstanding items. This staged approach ensures clarity, traceability, and quality at every step.
Once the O&M Manual has been reviewed and approved, it’s ready for project completion. At this stage, the manual is updated to remove any withdrawn documents or add any added information given at previous stages. The trade contractor should then provide all as-built drawings and commissioning information, so that the package can be considered as complete. The approved O&Ms are then sent for final submission to Zutec.
