2025 has been a defining year for Zutec — strategically, operationally and financially. It was a year focused on strengthening our platform, expanding our capabilities and helping customers manage building information more effectively across handover, compliance and operations.
Strengthening the Group and Expanding Our Footprint
The year began with the continued integration of DFM Systems following its acquisition, bringing the two businesses closer together throughout 2025. A key milestone was the opening of our new Dublin office, strengthening Zutec’s presence in Ireland and unifying expertise across digital handover, quality management and asset information.
In January, we also welcomed Operance into the group. This significantly strengthened our position in UK digital handover and Building Safety Act compliance, enabling more customers to deliver compliant Building Manuals and transition buildings into operation with trusted, structured information.

Advancing Quality Management and Site Delivery
In Quality Management, we successfully validated our Fire Barriers solution through a real-world proof of concept. This solution is now available as a standalone QA inspection module for customers requiring dedicated fire barrier inspections.
Alongside this, we delivered a series of Field App enhancements designed to streamline on-site workflows and improve usability for site teams. Together, these developments reflect Zutec’s focus on practical innovation, field efficiency and customer-led product evolution.
Investing for the Long Term
Our strategic recapitalisation in July sharpened our focus on long-term value creation. This has enabled further investment in areas such as AI, continued enhancement of the products that matter most to our customers, and preparation for future complementary acquisitions.
Throughout the year, we also laid strong foundations for how AI will support better decision-making around building data. These principles are explored in more detail in our Find What Matters paper, which outlines how intelligent data structuring and prioritisation will shape the future of building information management.

Industry Recognition
To close out the year, Zutec was proud to be named “Document and Content Management Product of the Year 2025” for Building Document Management at the Construction Computing Awards — a recognition of the progress made by our teams and the value delivered to customers.
Looking Ahead
As we move into 2026, Zutec is well positioned to build on this momentum — continuing to help contractors, developers, asset owners and operators manage building information with clarity, confidence and compliance across the full asset lifecycle.
