Zutec Wins Document and Content Management Product of the Year Award at Construction Computing Awards 2025

Zutec Building Document Management recognised as leading digital data solution that provides a record of information for Golden Thread and Building Safety Act compliance.

London – 7th November 2025: Zutec, a leading provider of construction and property management software in the UK and Ireland, is proud to announce that its Building Document Management solution has been named Document and Content Management Product of the Year at the 2025 Construction Computing Awards.

Now in its nineteenth year, the Construction Computing Awards – also known as The Hammers – celebrate the technology, tools, and solutions driving digital transformation across the construction and built environment sectors. Zutec has previously received multiple honours at the awards, including Innovation of the Year for its Part L Photographic Evidence solution and The Judges’ Choice award for its Golden Thread solutions.

Selected by the judges as a standout platform, Zutec’s Building Document Management enables asset owners to capture, store, manage, and share building data throughout the asset lifecycle. The solution provides a single source of truth that supports the Golden Thread of information and ensures compliance with the Building Safety Act (BSA). For new buildings in construction, documents and data can be added at handover via Zutec’s Digital Handover solution, or for existing building data, added retrospectively with Zutec’s Data Migration solution.

Used by more than 150 asset owners, Zutec’s platform replaces fragmented systems with one unified environment for document control and data management. Users can easily retrieve and update information, identify data gaps, and ensure that accurate, up-to-date details are always available to key stakeholders. The solution features structured templates, forms, checklists, and workflows to streamline data capture across Digital Handover, Gateway 3 Management, and inspections, such as fire risk assessments.

As part of the solution, Zutec is preparing to launch a native conversational AI chatbot within its platform. This secure, embedded tool is designed to let users access instant answers from their building data. Unlike open web-based AI tools, Zutec’s chatbot operates entirely within its platform, securely transforming verified building information into actionable intelligence.

“Winning the 2025 Document and Content Management Product of the Year Award is huge recognition for the team here at Zutec. With a focus primarily on the residential sector, we have some of the best compliance and regulatory-led products in the market for managing building information throughout the building lifecycle. We are proud of the work we are doing with asset owners across our handover and asset management solutions families, helping them maintain a digital golden thread of information and locate that information at the touch of a button — all supported by our heavy investment in AI.”
